However they are mostly seen on retail products for pulling up price and product information at the checkout. In this case the barcode is simply a 12 or 13 digit number encoded as an image.

What Barcodes are Supplied by You?

EAN (European Article Number): Widely used globally including India for product identification, including retail and e-commerce.
UPC (Universal Product Code): Commonly used in retail for product identification, particularly in North America.

Where do your barcodes come from?

The barcodes provided on our website come from valid and registered barcode prefixes obtained through authorised sources. We work with reputable barcode resellers and service providers who have acquired prefix allocations from the GS1 (Global Standards One) organisation.

Do your barcodes start with 890?

No. Only GS1 India can licence barcode numbers starting with 890. The barcodes we provide start with 06, 07 or 08.

How do I purchase barcodes from your website?

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the digital product and its unique assignment, we cannot offer refunds once the barcode purchase is completed. We encourage you to review your order carefully before making the purchase.

How long does it take to receive the barcodes after purchase?

Once your payment is confirmed, you will receive your barcodes via email within a few minutes. In rare cases, it may take up to an hour for the email to arrive. Please ensure that you provide a valid email address during the checkout process.

Are there any recurring fees or additional costs for the barcodes?

No, there are no recurring fees or additional costs associated with the barcodes purchased from our website. The one-time payment you make at the time of purchase covers the cost of the barcodes, and you will not be charged any further fees.

Can I use the barcodes purchased from your website internationally?

Will all retailers accept your barcodes?

No, there are some retailers in some countries who only accept barcodes bought directly from GS1. Retailers are able to choose their own requirements for barcodes whether or not they make sense. In India, stores like Reliance and D-mart require you to register with GS1 in order for them to accept your product. These requirements are also subject to change. However we have sold thousands of barcodes worldwide and are confident that apart from the stores mentioned above, stores will accept our barcode numbers. However, please check with your individual retailer(s) if you are unsure of their barcoding policy.
